A New World Order Needed?

Your Success Is My Success!

How many thinking business people in the entire world believe it is time for a "New World Order"? It is my view that the world is at war and collapsing around us because of greed and egos on the part of many and the resultant apathy and complacency of almost all of us! Just read about the conflict zones in the world today and the number of our fellow beings who are suffering, being exploited or even murdered in the interests of those greedy and egotistical beings! In the "New World Order" they would be made not only responsible for their actions but held personally accountable! We have an example right now where VIP i.e. well-known and well-connected business people have shares in a gold mine that is seriously polluting surrounding wetlands and thus destroying fish and bird life! All this appears to be because of their greed for profits and their refusal to spend money on what is legally required of them -- to buy lime to semi-purify the acid water that they are pumping out of their mine.

There is also massive breakdown of communication between nations and cultures because of language barriers which MUST be addressed if we are to solve these monumental problems! The human race needs to become united against tyranny and Evil. We need to stop those who manipulate the marketplaces, legal systems and monetary systems of the world, which as anyone in business should know, can only be controlled for a short time before the "market" catches on and turns on these people.

Just take the "free", Creator-provided resources -- gold and oil -- as an example! What about foreign exchange rates?. These are sore points with me when I see Third World countries being raped by those egotististical and greedy people! Should we accept others controlling what interest rate one pays?

Should one accept what other people sitting behind computer screens decide what one's currency is worth so they can buy a country's goods cheaply or sell expensively? Should one accept inflation (caused by Governments who print paper money) or food shortages, rising food prices when there is land aplenty to grow our food? Why should farmers be paid to keep their land fallow so prices can be kept high when children are dying of hunger?

The above applies to individuals, companies, conglomerates or Governments! History has proven this time and time again and yet there are those other naive, simple, uneducated people who annually get caught in this trap, exploited or accept these crimes against humanity because of complacency and apathy! Zimbabwe is a good example of this!

I do not profess to have all the answers but I do believe it is out "there" somewhere! I also believe that it only takes two people to start the ball rolling. I would like to see an international web site -- created by someone far cleverer than me -- that will give like-minded people a forum to voice their concerns about these issues and to generate the revenue necessary to appoint a legal team to take these people to the International Court!

We must never forget those sage words by Thomas Carlyle: "Words without action may as well have been suppressed altogether!" There is TOO much talk in this world and too little action by the apathetic and complacent. These folk are equally to blame for the state we find our planet and its environs in! They know what is wrong and Evil yet stand by and WATCH things happen!

All men are born equal yet why is there so much pain, suffering and poverty on this planet? So much misunderstanding? I wish I had the answers but I do have an opinion on where to find them! Those who believe in a Divine Creator (and I agree that there are those who think differently and rather let us agree to disagree and openly discuss our differences), know that HE gave us EVERYTHING we need to make earth into a Heaven or a Hell!

I am afraid the egotists and the greedy have "forced" us into the latter! The apathetic and complacent have stood and watched it happen or criticised those who would MAKE things happen as I know I am going to be!

Is it time for change? I believe the time is NOW!

Yours sincerely,
George
